Chief Medical Officer Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center Oahu, HI
We are proud to be partnering with Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center, as they seek a Chief Medical Officer inWaianae, located on the west coast of Oahu, Hawaii.
Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center (WCCHC) is the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) on the island of Oahu with seven service sites. WWCHC is a non-profit organization governed by a community that addresses health disparities, improves population health, and reduces health inequalities despite financial and cultural barriers. Improving care to the community means continued integration of primary care, behavioral health, nutrition, dental care, vision care, diagnostic services, and pharmacy within the same clinic.
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Medical Officer will organize, facilitate, and direct the delivery of medical, dental, behavioral, and ancillary services in partnership with the leadership team and approximately 130 providers. The CMO is responsible for providing clinical leadership, fostering superior quality patient care, developing clinical and operational goals and objectives, and working with the leadership team in executing the strategic imperatives of WCCHC.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical leader to positively impact the health and wellness of the communities served by WCCHC.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited school of medicine with a degree of Doctor of Medicine.
Must have a license to practice medicine in the State of Hawaii.
Board certified in primary care specialty.
Five years of clinical practice in general medicine may be substituted for board certification in a primary care area.
A minimum of three (3) years of medical administrative experience.
Demonsrated experience in working in multi-cultural communities.
A strong passion and affinity for serving underserved populations
