JOB SUMMARYThe Research Investigator independently leads and manages research efforts at Baylor Scott and White Research Institute (BSWRI). This position involves collaboration with other research investigators, research scientists, and clinicians to independently secure external funding, execute study deliverables as a principal investigator (PI), disseminate study results in high impact journals and present at local, national, and international conferences.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEApplies for external funding at the federal, foundation or other level and incorporates reviewer feedback into resubmissions. Serves as principal investigator, site-PI, or co-investigator on investigator-initiated or industry-sponsored research studies
